Honoring the urture® Patch Project Advisory Committee
The Patch Project is part of urture®’s commitment to the future of the green industry. It’s about growing the next generation of landscapers, contractors, advisors, and green-collar workers, the people who keep our neighborhoods, parks, and outdoor spaces thriving. Behind this mission stands a group of industry leaders who give their time and expertise to guide the project forward: the Patch Project Advisory Committee, a first-ever for the industry. We’re proud to recognize the individuals who make up this team!
Current Patch Project Advisory Committee members:
Jenny Girard and Stephanie Leveling – The Integra Group
John Richter – Richter Landscaping
Russ Marson – Carpenter & Costin
Cindy Code – Project Evergreen
Phil Sexton – WIT Advisors
Cheryl Steeleberg – Steelberg Marketing & PR/Wilson 360
Each member brings a different strength to the table, whether its hands-on experience building landscaping companies, advancing sustainable practices, connecting with communities, or pushing innovation in the trades. Together, they represent the values of what the idea of The Patch Project is all about.
More than formality, real insights and commitment
The Advisory Committee isn’t about titles or formality. These are people who know the challenges of the green industry firsthand, and want to help make the trades more understood, more profitable, and safer. And they are putting in their own time and effort to help.
We believe there should be a purpose with every purchase here. Each qualifying sale tied to the Patch Project supports training programs, trade schools, and initiatives that fuel the future of landscaping and outdoor trades. With the guidance of this Advisory Committee, the Patch Project is more than an idea, it’s becoming a movement to raise up the next generation of workers, leaders, and innovators in the green industry.
Because when we honor the people who shape the outdoors today, we invest in the people who will care for it tomorrow. Give them a round of applause!
